    Sure. Jet engines are very impressive; modern travel would be impossible without them, and how they work is very interesting. They just lack the mechanical fascination that Radial engines have for me.

    I forget what it is, but I believe it uses around 80% thrust capacity for taking off and then dials back to 30% or so for cruising.

    Sounds about right. I've read that commercial airliners generally set the flaps for maximum lift and then use just enough engine for the runway they've got, to save on maintenance intervals.

    The DRZ isnt very highway friendly, but, is kick-ass on backroads...
    The Dyna I can do whatever... I tend to go farther on that... partial fairing and 6 gears and all.....

    Man, I have really tossed getting behind a mask full time, still do from time to time so much less stress. but, if I did that, it would be back in petro-chem/pipeliner/refinery environment, Gulf Coast.

    I would have to make at LEAST what i make now, to even entertain a shift.
