1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

I have some Valvo VR1 for the next Z oil change. It's high in zinc and moly. It's the cheapest oil of its kind but the VG engine is weird cause it's not that old but runs a hydraulic flat tappet lifter set. Didn't even consider the Ester oil cause you can only get it from Nissan and even a quart is spendy AF

 

Dont rush into welding just so you can have armor in 2 weeks. Take your time and do it right. The slow way.

Yo sper, not sure if the Allen wrench set from like Cornwell or snap-on is better? I guess it could be made from better alloy and not strip or round. I've had a Husky set forever but I'm sure they're just a cheapy kinda set

Not sure but I doubt it. At least here state side. I was referring more to the looks of the Bimmer wagon and liking the looks of the similar years Benz wagons. Back then BMW and Benz were making a very very solid product
