So this is the runner I’m going to see tomorrow. Time unknown at the moment.

Comes with that moocho rare r151f not yet installed and Chevy 63 springs and install kit, also not yet installed. Hoping for the best. :fingerscrossed:

Cute pup. We just recently got 2 puppies (well not yet as they were only born a week ago). We are so excited to be able to have them at the new house. The father is cane corso/st bernard and the mother is full blooded akc champion red bone hound. They were oppsy puppies lol.

so I've always thought this was weird....why ask the homeowner when the party will be, is it not supposed to be thrown by somebody else for the new homeowner?

folks asked me why I never had a housewarming party, and I'm like "am I supposed to throw myself a party for you to give me gifts?" seems weird to me.

nobody threw me a party... :pout:

It's customary for new house owners to invite friends, family over for food/drinks/fellowship! We bought our latest home 5 years ago on Thanksgiving and we had friends/family over for a great time! They brought all the food and we did all the cleaning afterwards! I'd bring @tweakit88 a nice food dish to share with everyone!

every housewarming party I've ever been to was thrown by someone other than the homeowner themselves. sort of like a birthday party, you don't throw your own party..

If it's my house, I'm gonna throw the party together, not someone else! lol Most folks just bring by a dish and it's like a hodge podge of food, beverages etc. I just hosted and showed off our new home. I think that's what a housewarming party is for, to show your new casa off to friends and family.

I get that, and I don't disagree. I always thought they were more for "new homeowners" to help them get some things as gifts that are necessary house essentials that other people have learned over the years you would need but maybe not realize. I guess if it's beyond your first house though, and you are throwing a party more of a get-together with food makes sense since you already have everything from previously owning a house.
