Im looking to buy just a front suspension setup until I can get enough money to do rear also.

I understand I'll need to do an alignment after I put in the rear again.

    My question.
What suspension should I get that is adjustable in the long run.
I have 700$ cash atm, can do a little more If needed.

    Thank you!

With that much of a budget, you could probably purchase a full suspension system not including installation.

Not sure how to link users, but you should reach out to headstrongoffroad and even check out their website. It's very informative and they can help you out with any questions.

I have, from my understanding in what they said was that I would need an UCA for their Bilstein lift and that puts it over my budget.

I'm still doing research myself, and I'm sure someone with more experience can chime in on this, but I heard that you probably need new UCA's if you're going 3" lift or above. If that's your case, then probably yes

For $700 you could do both front and back and be done. Unless your an avid off roader who needs super high end stuff.. I quickly looked up a basic Bilstein 5100 shock/struts (on all 4 corners) W/new lift Coils up front, and an add a leaf for the back comes in at $712 at Headstrongoffroad.com.. I am sure you can find comparable prices other places as well..

I've got the toytec boss 2.0 with 650 springs, they are a nice upgrade! Be careful though it's addicting, I'm now going to order adjustable 2.5s from accutune to go to the next level!

Oh ya, I'm running stock arms at the moment too, I'll be going to spc when the 2.5's go on!

Yeah that looks like it'll rub. What tire size are you running? You probably need a CMC.

If you're running 285's, I've heard that a 3" lift might help, but other still had to do a CMC to completely eliminate any rubbing. Your miles may vary though.

    I am running 265 65 18 with a -12 offset.
    I now know 18s aren't a great idea lol

I did a CMC and Sliders through @YamaDirtrider and @Red Baron here in Colorado, it's just rubbing on plastic atm, but that's without flexing at all.

Through a 1-1.25" spacer on the stock set up for now, then save for your full kit!

Nothing wrong with 18's. I did a quick tire size comparison, and I'm running 265/75/16 which has the same tire dimensions as yours.

I had to remove my front mudflaps and it completely stopped my rubbing. I'm at 0 offset and 16x8 wheels tho.

I don't have a lot of knowledge into this, but you might need to look into wheel spacers?

That's true... Well I'm going to give you the good old Tacomaworld motto.. You buy once, you cry once.

If you're going over 3", I say just bite the pillow and purchase that new UCA. If not, you should be dandy. I don't really think there's really any way to cut corners. I'm sure there's plenty of forums on this site to let you know if 2" to 2.5" is enough to get you by
