Whirlpool Upright Freezer in White 12.0cu ft WORKS PERFECTLY

Not sure in the exact age but it definitely comes from a time when they made these things to last longer than you and your kids rather than just the 1-year warranty like most of the freezers made these days. As such I hate to part ways with it because I know that when the time comes that we need another one I'll be stuck buying one of the newer throw-away freezers that will need to be replaced every few years. Sadly, this must go and someone is going to get a quality appliance the likes of which are becoming more difficult to find.

Mechanically I'd give this a 10/10. Perfect. Needs nothing.

Cosmetically 8.5/10 as it's not perfect. The surfaces are decent but if you're expecting it to look flawless like a brand new (and probably $500) freezer you'll be let down. I've seen people paint these so that's an option if you want it to look flawless but the surface is currently the factory coating which is showing a few minor signs of it's age. Nothing serious though. A couple cracks on inner plastics here and there but nothing that affects performance.

What you see is what you get. Plugs into a standard 120v outlet found (by code) in any garage or house. I paid more for this years ago and it's been worth every penny. Decent deal on a great freezer from a time when we made stuff like this in the good old US of A (specifically Michigan in this case) the right way!
