I went with Proforged for the inners and outers are TRW Automotive. Seemed to have good reviews on both, hope they will last.

    Lol on the wash!

I had to break down and wash also as the fine dust and 1M painted lady butterflies in Death Valley impaled themselves on my windshield, bumper, headlights, skid plate, etc.
It took $35 at the local spray/wash and about 45 minutes...

I did a quick wash on mine. probably 20min. sure beats doing it at home and having to wash the drive way after.
One of these days ill finish up the bumper and after I plan to detail truck inside and out. Give it a good wax too. That will be nice.

Installed a 4runner key light hole thingy. Not sure how but seemed to have tapped into the right wires from my clock. Reading threw others experience with this mod few have complained about the ring light reflecting in the window at night. This is true, but with this set up when lights are off the ring light is on. Then when I turn on the lights, it turns off. Can’t get any better then that.

Install was easy. Just had to take off lower panel, remove the old ring, replace with new one. Drop the light in place(originally there is a screw to hold it there but no need for it as it stays put. And splice 2 wires. Oh and put everything back together. 5-10 min job if you know what your doing.

I don’t have a part number but I know there is a few that fit from other Toyota’s.

If I take it apart again I can let you know the part number. I’m sure it easy to find on line tho too. If not let me know and I’ll take mine apart.

Finally got around to de-badging the truck.
Last of the chrome to go will be the rear bumper and door handles on passenger side. But that’s for another day.

Alright it’s time for an update, and a pick dump.
Last weekend went to Walker Valley with a 3rd gen 4runner. Had a good time running the trails. Only damage was a slightly dented drive shaft. Starts vibrating hard at about 65mph. Will need to have that fixed.

On another note, also swapped in my s/c.
Currently still need to swap in the urd fuel pump and figure out what to use for tuning it. Leaning more towards the urd mas air flow fuel & timing calibrator.

Nice. Just as I made the decision to go supercharged. Will probably be a while for me though.

Make sure to do a lot of research as it wont be an easy swap. I'm currently chasing down 2 codes. P0300 & P0306, basically a multiple cylinder misfire. I'm hoping a bigger fuel pump and a piggy back will help me get rid of these issues.

I feel like thats a bit large on gap? (would only cause misfires at higher load, probably you'd notice a stumble or hesitation)

What heat range are they? (could cause intermittent misfire/detonation if to warm, probably you'd notice more than just a code, but no real pattern, would happen most after the truck is warm)

    And which pulley is that?

    Spark plug I'm using is BCPR7ET 2164
also running bigger injectors 23250-46031 (305cc)
    The pulley is a 2.2

I'm getting rough idle but when the truck is driving it seems to even out.

Installed Redline Tuning hood struts today. Way easier then I thought it would be. They have very detailed instructions. Now my hood opens up more then before and I don’t have to use the stock stick to hold it.
