I have some very good ideas but i need concrete. So it wont be till next year.

 

I guess just start an argument on TW somewhere then. That’ll kill an afternoon.

 

Id be asking if it were me lol.

 

lol I want to be productive and learn more about what I'll be doing, but everything is so hidden or not organized for new hires to learn from that I literally have no idea where to even go for stuff.

Somebody yesterday was like "have you requested access for this?" and I was like "no, what is this" and they were like "oh go here to request access" and I was like "where is here?" (vague for proprietary reasons lol)

literally have been given like near 0 information about what I need..

 

I just don't want to give off the persona of "he isn't willing to look for work" but I also don't want to annoy people by always asking when they should know I need training/work/something...

 

Sounds just like my first couple weeks. Had zero clue how the systems worked and just had to fumble my way through it.

 

yep, that's how I'm doing now...I just don't want to be fumbling through things that A. I shouldn't be and B. serve no purpose to my job....but I don't know the answer to either of those lol.

 

Understand that. And then when you finally get access you don’t want to accidentally delete all the technical data for an entire program because you were curious. Lol.

No it is the second house. Same thing still applies according to my wife. It is just so everyone can see the house at once and hang out.

Seriously, do you need a reason to throw a party? I voted for opening day of college football. Guys can watch the games and wifes can talk about the house.

 

I sat in a bored office for the first 2 weeks with nothing to do. I watch random training/learning videos on stuff I found interesting that might pertain to my job. When asked, I told the truth and got congratulated on being proactive with my down time.

 

Im just gunna have a big campout . Everybody bring a tent and stuff to cook over the fire. Have a few drinks, crawl into your tents and drive home in the morning when your sober. Just no flat ground is at a premium lol

 

This sounds like an excellent idea! When Jeannie and I get our dream piece of land with our log cabin on it, we'll invite all of yall over for a camp/cookout as well. We can shoot guns, eat and drink, not necessarily in that order!

That was my plan as well.

 

I want a 500 yard shooting range in my yard.

 

I want a legal one, all on my property.
