How would this do for towing?

Assuming everything is tuned to be safe, have you tested towing at all and what the engine does while pulling something?

If it's making 300 ft/lb at 2000 RPM it's going to tow like a diesel

EDIT: it's making 325 ft/lbs at that engine speed. that's 50 more than the stock motor makes at more than twice the rpm

Wow - I was pretty set on a SC but that torque at highway cruising RPMs is phenomenal!

What if Toyota is paying @OVTune to develop a truck-based twin turbo 3.5L for the upcoming tundra refresh and the next Tacoma

Highly unlikely but the power numbers are full size competitive for sure. A 10psi 3.5 would make for a monster new Tundra. Especially with the hybrid rumors.

I was making a joke since Toyota has reached out in @OVTune in the past (much like other tuners/manufacturers such as magnuson superchargers). But it would actually make the tundra somewhat competitive with the other full-size trucks

I foresee lots of unintended and intended fishtail smiles.

Butt hurt fords is the unofficial main reason for the turbo kit! LOL, mainly for me to make my uncles 5.0 f150 and his 07 stang look slow

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
This is what they are planning on doing to the next Tundra I believe... TT 3.5 or something to that extent.
