The M18 stuff is great, dad runs them (drill, 1/2” impact) and I’ve used the M12 ratchet and the ratchet was not terribly impressive but I want to try the fuel model as I’ve hear they’re much better.

I walked into Home Depot with intentions to buy the M18 Fuel 1/4 impact driver but they were out of stock. But it seems the M12 Fuel is more than enough power to complete my deck yesterday.

Knowing me... I'll probably buy M18 tools too.

My brain is telling me that I only need to replace the blade, but my heart is telling me to replace the Ryobi circular saw for a Milwaukee.

I was hoping you guys could help me out. I don't have a garage so I don't have a lot of space especially for cutting wood and things. The most logical place is behind my house but carrying tools up from the basement is always a pain. I workbench with space for a table saw would be ideal but I don't want to cover the thing with a tarp and I don't want to build a 10' roof over it. The best thing I've come up with is a hinged cover. Has anyone seen anything like this before? thanks in advance.

You could just leave some plastic sawhorses outside and use a circular saw instead of a table saw. Its much easier to carry out of the basement

Prepping the last 3 timbers to finish up our timberwork in our outside shop space , AKA the covered deck

Glass roof framing is done in background , the glass area is covered in 6mil poly till the glass arrives

When you need a 6x10 and all you have is this 6x12 haha

I have a track saw. Doesn't solve the problem of lugging from the basement and "tracking" saw dust in the house.

    What?

Build a shed, a large shed, then call it a shop.

Options I would think of in the order I would think of:
    1. Buy a different house
    2. Build a garage/shop
    3. Build a shed
