So you guys that are always on CL and such can you please keep a lookout for me for some 16x8 wheels. I need 2 of them, preferably the same and black. I would prefer ones with 4.5" BS. I have found some stock sport and sr5 ones for $25 but would really rather have the backspacing! Thanks in advance and send me a PM if you see anything...oh and they do not have to be pretty looking either.

 

So you guys missed out on a Sick movie and some Rad trucks. It was a good event. Not too many race trucks but a lot of prerunners like mine. DP8 is so sick. I'm def buying it this week. I also got a Fast-Aid Cali 200 sticker for donating. Also I got to see a $500k Geiser Bros built F150 Prerunner. it was so epic. I'd give up a few fingers, half the liver and a nut for that truck lol. Anyways you all should buy it. or when I get mine we can do "Man Moive Night"

need to pull my grill off the truck. the after market headlights i used for my hid retro shakes a little. worst design i've ever seen. i have an idea how to secure it, but that means i need to pull all that crap apart just to remove 1 headlight. fun times!!

 

Oh I think you have time do it...lol

My next fix it project is going to be to pull the bumper and sand it down and paint it with bed liner.

 

yeah, but last time i pulled the corner lights, i broke a tab. i'm still trying to meet up with ian to get his spare corners, might try a black out on them too. i could be busy if i wanted too, but i need to clean up the garage a little and do some yard work. need to get up at the ass-crack of dawn to get that going before it gets too hot

 

Pulling the grill is like, 30 seconds lol. 2 tabs, 2 10mm screws and pull straight up. The light itself is a bit of a pita though I'll admit... I did break the little lower colormatched piece when I swapped my lights on the 08. Left it though, never seemed to move or do anything anyway haha.

 

1st gen remember. 2 screws for the corner lights(breaking tabs are optional) then the grill it self has 7 tabs i think and that includes two that mount to the headlight itself. after that, its cake! first try took about 30min just to find the two under the headlights
