Seems like a stupid one to me, but some people don't think. I guess unless you are a gear-head or drive stick the average american doesn't have any idea how cars work though.

That's the sad part. My Driver's Ed instructor back in high school simulated a stuck accelerator with all of us. Used a cane to mash the gas. Made us try kicking the pedal, then turn the ignition off, slow down for a 90 degree turn without the power assist, then slow the car down a slight hill by pumping the e-brake after exhausting pressure from the brake pedal. Why something as simple as this isn't required before being issued a license I will never know.

Any moron can get the right to drive a 2,000+ pound weapon in public, but god forbid someone like myself try to get a pistol permit.

ya, the upgrade or whatever you want to call it puts the car in neutral, you can do that yourself, but some people dont think. figureing if the pedal gets stuck first reaction might be to hit the brake. people just need to be more educated not stupid upgrades

I broke my arm last weekend, so I'm kinda laid up for a bit too. Probably another week or two and I'll be better off.

Yea I can do some coordinating. Just naming some places off the top of my head...
Stewart Park - Nice big parking lot. Can park all the trucks together and take some pictures by the lake.
We could cruise thru Ithaca and turn some heads. I have never seen anyone convoy through the area.
We can cruise up 89 toward towards Taughannock Falls which is pretty cool.
If you guys are feeling it we could run up to Watkins Glenn and check out the race track. Don't really know if there is much to see though.

Ithaca has more restaurants per capita than NYC so there are so many choices for food it's ridiculous.

    Anyone have any suggestions?
