32 psi right now, but I'm running a set of Mickey Thompson Baja ATZP3s. They feel heavier than the BFGs I used to run.

Ride quality depends on your specific application. 5100s are not tuned specifically for each vehicle...

Yeah, I think they're just considered "universal" application. A lot also depends on the coils you're running.

That psi isn't super high to where the tire would be stiff either

This is taken directly from Bilstein's website...

"Due to their larger tires and heightened stance, lifted vehicles place extra demands on a shock absorber‘s damping ability. The B8 5100‘s monotube design and patented digressive valving is uniquely suited to confront these demands. On or off-road, loaded or unloaded, the BILSTEIN B8 5100 shock absorber instantly reacts to changing road inputs to maintain a stable, controlled, and comfortable ride."

Pretty sure it's safe to say that while they aren't tuned specifically, it seems they are tuned with specific conditions in mind: lifted trucks, big tires, and heavy loads

So yeah for a truck thats close to stock they might not be the best. Its honestly just subjective at this point. Some people want a softer ride some people want a more firm ride so; some people vouch for em some people curse em ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Everyone has their own definition of "good ride quality"

You know those are basically identical to the 5100s, right? They're just not adjustable and shorter.

5100's and 4600s are a digressive shock, and without going into a bunch of detail (that I don't even fully understand) that basically translates to a somewhat rougher ride than other shocks, like the Monroes, or higher end King and Fox.

If you want to drive the thing off road, get the 5100s, or spend the cash and get linear/progressive shocks like Kings or Fox (Icon are good too, but are the same digressive dampening as the 5100s).

As far as lifts go, I wouldn't wanna give up ride quality for height. If I could but fit slightly bigger tires that would be cool. I'll probably get a set of F5's at some point but I'm in now rush

You should be able to fit a set of 32s with little to no rubbing issues with a good alignment. 1 inch taller / 1 inch wider

I think they would fit nice, definitely looking forward to how it'll look. I'll probably stay away from spacers though, I like the aggressive look but I don't want any performance issues

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
That's right. Bilstein says the 4600 and 5100 use the same pistons and valving. The 5100s have longer travel for lifted applications and for the front, a height adjustment.

I suggest a pair of ICON 2.5's w/ 650lb springs, remove the sway bar and you're good to go up front. Save up for UCA's and you'll be set.

Yeah, and spend $1500 on shocks and another $700 on new ucas. Plus install if you can't do it yourself. But, if I had the cash, HELL YEAH! I've already got the ucas so... Hahaha!!

If I knew then what I know now I probably would've gone a different route with the shocks.

No, let change that to, if I had LISTENED to what EVERYBODY said and not been stubborn I would've gone another route and been happy! And if I had gone with #650 springs I could've bought a new bumper!!! Damn....

So this wasn’t meant for you. OP asked the question.

Again, OP didn’t say anything about a bumper.
