The DC will hold its value better and be a lot easier to sell if you ever need to change vehicles, have you though about dclb?

Unless you’re trying to make it fit in your garage it’s nice to have both dc and lb. just a thought.

Nice deal...how much did you pay tax title and license?
    Is this a manual truck?

Supply vs demand. Not a lot of Access cabs being made or sold, won’t take much demand in the future to keep them highly sought after is my opinion. Where as the market is flooded with Double Cabs.

I didn't finance TTL. Plus I got money from a vehicle that I sold (not traded). So waiting on the rest of the damages. :(

TTL fees should be on your final signed paperwork even if you paid cash for them or the for the entire truck.

Hmmm? I didn't pay attention to the info being on the paperwork from the dealer because I only planned on financing the truck itself (after down-payment). Maybe I did finance title and license fee? Guess I could report what tax I owe on the truck? But yours may be different than mine (~6% here in Arkansas)? And, I should see somewhat of a discount on my tax after applying the sale of my previous vehicle (that part wouldn't be on the paperwork because it wasn't a trade-in)?

Everything should be itemized on the sale sheet and on the financed loan. Yes every state will have different fees and loans.

In CA you pay tax on the entire purchase not what’s left over after the trade in.
In AZ if you trade in a vehicle you pay tax on what’s over after the trade. If you sell the car outright however there is no discount on sales tax.
    Ex: $35k purchase price.
Cash/finance buy, tax is on $35k.
$30k trade, cash/finance remainder, tax is on the last $5k.
Sell you car outright for $30k, cash/finance remainder, tax is on $35k.again this is AZ Law.

Ya. My fault for not looking. Even though I got a new truck that day, I was having a bad day. I was also in the process of having to off-load my wife's' new Rav4 Adventure. Long Story Short - had horrible problems with the Electronic Transfer Case. Mclarty Store Manager said to bring it back and he would make it right. Should have known that I had a screwing coming. Made out OK on the deal (Another Rav for the wife). But then thy tried to screw me again on the finance rate for the truck 6.1% ( I've got a 780 Credit Score).

I was told (phone call to the DMV) that I could recoup tax's on the sale of the old vehicle here in AR. ? Guess I'll know for sure when I go to register?

That’s crazy. You should be in the 2’s%. It’s 3.9 from Toyota on a 6yr.

Dealers make money on everything. They may only get a couple hundred on the truck purchase itself but will make thousands on add ones and financing.

Question for you all, hopefully this is the right place to ask it.

I recently moved to Vegas and am looking to get a Tacoma in the next month or two. I got a quote through the Costco auto program for a OR DCSB AT, without tech or premium packages for 38329k OTD.

Does that seem reasonable? Should I wait a bit for the 2020 to lower the price? Anywhere in the Vegas area I should be checking for a good deal?

Just saw this. Costco is a one price program. You won’t get a better price from them on the exact truck. What’s the msrp of the truck in question?

It sounds like you’re getting $1500 to $2000 off of msrp with that price. You should be able to get $1k or $2k more off the price.

The catch is no options auto are hard to find. If this truck sells you will most likely need to pay for a higher msrp truck.
$37k truck $38.3k otd your quote.
$39k truck $38.5k otd better discount but same price.

At the beginning of this thread, there is a list of invoice prices. I used this when I purchased my 2016 DC SR5.
Hoping to now get a 2021 DC OR with options. Does anyone have a 2020 or 2021 invoice price list?

The spreadsheet is directionally correct but all years after 2016 had collision avoidance and more beep boop boop beep stuff that spiked the price by a couple grand.

Costco Auto has a pretty good invoice and MSRP price comparison. Select the options you want and it will calculate the MSRP and invoice prices. It seems pretty accurate. Good luck on your search.
