I hope this answers everyones questions.
    1. There is no release date for 2.0. No expected release date. No coming soon release date.
    2. If you ordered dump tubes, you will receive a dump tube specific 2.0 tune, once you have the dump tubes. (and I am working on finalizing dump tube files for certain ecus).
    3. Due to the high volume of dump tubes that were ordered, our fabricator is taking longer than we expected. The moment we have them they will ship.
    4. We work on everything as quickly as we can. I get dozens, upon dozens of requests daily through zendesk, PM, forum posts, etc. It is impossible to keep up with all of it. If you ask us something on here and we do not respond, do not take it personally, it's quite likely I didn't even see the post. If you are asking about ETAs on your specific order, you need to do so through zendesk.

Thanks. I really don't know how much more I can do. I've said a dozen times we had a huge number of orders over the 4th of july holiday, but to clarify even further. We had way more dump tube orders than expected, as a result the fabricator is making 5x as many as we THOUGHT we'd have to make. The manufacture of the cable was gone for nearly 3 weeks of july, and we ran out of cables. We are working on catching everything up while also trying to be the first to show what this engine can do with boost, and I just had a baby.

Now, it can be quite difficult to get things done juggling between zendesk and the forum. So, I'm taking some time off the forum. I'll be back in a month.

 but it does seem like they’ve over extended themselves once again. Whether they like it or not the business model they have built does not meet the demand of most customers.
I’m a huge fan of the work they are doing and I commend their efforts. I’d really like to see them hire more people and publish realistic timelines for product release.

This seems kind of crappy. 2.0 is not ready for release unless we buy dump tubes...but you don’t have a sufficient inventory of dump tubes.

The focus now seems to be dump tubes and turbos. What happened to the 4.88 and/or larger tire options and custom tunes.

Your business = your rules. Just seems a little shady and I know that’s not who you are.

I never, ever said that you have to buy dump tube to get 2.0.
dump tube requires a different tuned VVT, as explained many pages ago, so you get a beta version of it with tuned vvt for the dump tubes.

Meh. I rather a finished tune than a rushed tune. 2.0 will be finished when Matt has worked the kinks out unless you’re willing to take the mantle and deal with customer support.

DD also fabricates every bit of the system inhouse.

OVT does not fab anything. The Tactrix adapters, REG files, FM software, turbos, S/Cs, and dump tubes are all negotiated, coordinated, and sourced through vendors during and after development and testing. Fuck. A good bit of folks in this thread can't even wait a week for the tune kit to arrive, don't read simple instructions, and then realize they actually have work to do when the kit is delivered.

And, what is the first thing that happens when you hire a person: profit is gone or the price takes a leap. If you pay that person well enough to deal with this stuff. It can take months, if not longer, for them to learn it all and actually be effective.

Well, unless you enlist slave (son / daughter) labor. I imagine some peeps in this thread would work well with @OVTune 's newborn?

There's always someone whining about Mat and his timelines or lack thereof, every few weeks or so. Someone always pops up even though they're always given advance warning to be patient. We were overdue. Lol

I have been testing for 3 week. Trust me, 2.0 needs polishing. It is digestible, but not quite to my liking.

He chose to run his business in a public forum. It has consequences.

This is the first time I’ve voiced a public opinion of disappointment. The fact of the matter is that, whatever the reasons may be, Mat can’t keep up with the demand - nor could any other 2-person company.

Nearly every new order of a tune or a peripheral disrupts his progress on future development. There is a reason most organizations have separate ‘future’ and ‘current’ operations departments.

There are plenty of solutions. However, they all require money, an operational pause, and a team of people to implement. Mat is no dummy. He’s just gutting it out everyday like a soldier. I can only imagine how exhausted he must be and how behind he must feel.

That said, we’re still allowed to have opinions and the above is mine alone. Would I repeat the decision to buy his product again given what I know now? ABSOLUTELY! Well worth the wait!!!

Seems to me they’re going to be even more overextended here soon. 10+ ecus all get 2.0, then there’s got to be a dump tube tune for each of those, then there’s the 4.88 guys that are getting separate tunes, then the 5.29 guys, then the guys with 4.88s or 5.29s AND dump tube tunes together. Then compound that with 3 separate supercharger tunes and a turbo tune. Then tire size changes and maybe another separate tune for that new little intake piece. There’s going to be 100+ tunes to create and maintain, it’s going to be crazy.

Some of this mess is really easy to fix though...don’t have cables for tunes, don’t sell tunes. Don’t have dump tubes in hand, or the tunes they require, don’t sell dump tubes.

I’m onboard though, sitting back and waiting patiently for a supercharger that’s in stock, not a preorder.
