    Good eye!

There is almost no corrosion issue around here, but I am going to do a quick hit this fall, mainly the bare machined metal. I think it was the pic that @Unchained 5150 posted of his pristine underside that got me thinking about it? :D

I have no doubts on that. That is the kind of thing that earns money if / when you sell it or keeps it happy until the wheels fall off.

Funny I was out today and got offered $31,000 as it sits now. Not yet I think.

Hell yeah. Too soon and too much work to swap over the goods.

I've been thinking a lot about a softtopper. Canopies are just stoopid expensive, esp with side windoors, and I have no place to store it if I pop it off. Wedge campers are out of reach. The quick fold would solve just about all the issues that I can see while getting the easy dry storage that I really want.

Exactly the reason I have mine and I love it. I find tonneau covers useless and I frequently need to put tall stuff in my bed. The Softopper works perfectly.

I agree about the tonneaus and feel that for me a hard tonneau would be even worse. My rollup has held me over until I could settle on something. I only have it on in the winter mainly for dry storage when the fam is with me.

Especially when you have an RTT under the Softopper and the Outboard Bike Mount to go with it.

Nice setup. I just got happy with my own bike mount sorta copied off of the Inno one:

After several runs with the 50lb fatty, I made another of the other bikes on the other side. A softtopper would be key here also and no bueno on a canopy.

Thanks! I've gone about three rounds on a bike mount. This is just easy, esp for that cheap fatty that does not work well with a retrofit QR skewer.

I do like the outboard ones, esp as I'd like to adapt it for a kayak also. Still churning on that though.

What would this mod be worth to people if it also included the locker anytime functionality? I have been revisiting my reservations on the locker anytime part and contemplating offering a 2 in one kit. It would probably cost at least twice what the 2LM cost.

It would be Arduino based and require no additional buttons for the locker. I believe I have a good way of using your existing switch, and also monitoring the status of the 4x4 mode switch. A 2Lo button would still be required most likely.

This sounds like something any self respecting Taco owner should want. I wanted (and use) the 2LM. I’m not sure I’d use this one though. I’m going to go with $100 Bob. :). But that’s me, and not someone feeling the need for it.
