It all started changing with teens in the 90s for some reason. I was class of 96 and most of our group of friends had jobs after school, busboy, grocery bagger, etc. And we payed our gas and insurance and saved for a car/truck. Actually that prolly was more like half now that I think about it. But half had vehicles given and half we bought them but we all had work to pay for the insurance and gas and maintenance, etc. It's not better or worse that way. It's just different. Different experiences and different lessons learned and stuff. Kinda cool to think about actually.

I found out progressive gets private party info that they hold against your record. I got popped by one of those roadside speed cameras (no excuses, I was speeding) and even though it never counted against my license they found out and adjusted my insurance rates even though it was a 40 in 35

For sure, when I was growing up in high school and into college my parents covered my insurance but I was responsible for my car payment. These days that stuff gets crazy expensive for a kid with a part time job while in full time school so I understand the parents covering certain things. Nowadays in CA at least a <21 year old with a clean driving record is can cost a few hundred a month for full auto coverage. Let alone with a ticket or accident on record. Its nuts

Interestingly in CO tickets like roadside camera and red light camera are not legally enforceable unless you are served in person but insurance company don't care

thinking about trying an aftermarket seatbelt for the taco. Mine stopped retracting completely last weekend. I put some in the wrangler and they were OK

I have some 3 point harnesses but I have to build a cage and tie the seats in to mount those properly

Might just need to be washed, they don't retract hardly at all when they're dirty

ARB told me to put the + side leaf spring on the passenger side to see if that fixes the lean...

Something tells me that won’t do anything and I’ll be tearing it all apart again to reverse it back.

@Sperrunner EDIT: Or anyone else that may know

Does $159 for a residential run capacitor sound nuts to you? Amazon has all kinds of them for $10-15?!

I had one of my units serviced 2 weeks ago, finally got the bill and they're charging $159 for the run cap! WTF!
