Searched high and low and I couldn't find anyone successfully swap in a set of OEM heated seats into a non-heated Tacoma. For the wiring/computer wiz out there, Can I? What do you think will take to make this function as OEM? My hope is a plug and play installation with the heat seats and the new digital control panel but I know it's a pipe dream since nothing is simple anymore.

I just acquired a brand new set of leather heated seats from a 2019 Sport, came with all the bells and whistles and I'm a bells and whistles kinda guy...lol

In theory, it would be simple if all the connections are there. Reality might be a whole different story of course.

You probably have a tough time finding someone who has done the swap because (and this leads into my question) why would a heated sear owner swap down to cloth? How did you get your seats?

I wouldn’t be surprised if your truck wasn’t already pre-wired for heated seats. Did you check under your carpet/seats?

You will still need the two dash panel heat controls and associated wiring.

Local wreck yard. The sport they have there only had 6700 miles but it's destroyed. Good thing airbags didn't go off.

I added heated seats when I did the leather Clazzios. I got the Toyota switches and they went into the dash perfect. A good auto electrician can use the factory seat wires and make a wiring harness. A stereo shop can probably do it.

As long as the seats are still wired should be easy. The trucks are not pre wired. Trust me!

Simple and professional. I love those switches.

My seats came with the heater so I’m 3/4 way there.

How much did you pay for the seats if you don’t mind me asking? I got some connections with wrecking yards and would be interested in swapping mines as well. I do have clazzio’s but would prefer OEM. Also feel free to PM info
