This one is bone stock. Only aftermarket things on it are the radio and the alarm system. Completely unmolested.

I asked him if he was going to rice it out with the wing, and the camber, and the three piece wheels, and the anime stickers... and he gave me a firm "Hell no."

That is admirable. People maintaining stock 90's-00's Civics are modern day prophets.

I did about $2-3,000 worth of work on that Honda, he paid to get the whole car re-painted last year. It's a very good example of it.

Let's hope he didn't blow the headgasket this afternoon driving it back home. I'm replacing the radiator today.

Hondas are notorious for head gasket leaks and head or block pitting which will show symptom down the road as slowly coolant missing, being consumed. Radiator swap was of course a good idea but definitely keep eye on coolant level. And believe it or not, if he ends up with slight cracked head gasket or head, it might be worth trying one of those head gasket fixers in a bottle. I used one on a 2002 4 cyl Honda civic few years ago and it actually held. I was shocked, and I saw dude few months after that and was still good. Anyway just FYI

Those are actually some of the best built Civics. In terms of build quality
