My 2017 sport didn't either. Think it's a dealer add on if it does.

Mine did. My 2017 OR didnt. But I was under the impression that these would get in the way while offroading?

Yea my black one was full of pinstripes and they were VERY noticeable; even from far away.

I wonder if it is a US/ Canada difference. I think all the TRD trucks I have seen in Ontario have them on.

My dealer wanted almost $500 for the add on. Found a set on Amazon that bolts right on for $60 and are identical to factory; 20 minute install. After going to Falken Wildpeaks I took them back off; looks much better without!

I hear you. I started to keep the black 2016 SR5 and get it Line-X'd. A/C stunk so bad I decided to trade it off. Only thing I miss about the '16 is I didn't have any truck payments. This one here I have 6 years worth. LOL!

I left it on the dealer service drive for a laundry list of work. I'm at 1119 miles.

I think I might trade the truck in.

Certain parts of the country the damp evap core mold/bacteria grows on it. My '19 is not even 9 months old yet and I can smell the odor of cow manure stank. I'm going to order a can of foam cleaner and shoot it up the a/c drain tube. Guess I'll have to add this to my regular maintenance every year. I found a link I can get the Subaru name brand cleaning foam cheaper than this Toyota name brand. (Wish I would of known about this stuff when I had my black '16)

Wow! That is crazy! When the salesman gave me the quote I just laughed and said “no thanks!”

Not sure if it’s possible but if you ran the fan to dry out the AC coil that wouldn’t happen. I’m a HVAC guy and I see it quite a bit with who,e house air conditioning. At least until all equip is switched over to variable speed blowers.

I did that from day 1 and even started turning the heat on high then let it blow for a couple minutes before shutting the truck off. Even made sure the re-circulate air was off before I turned the truck off. Freaking weird though because I know a guy that had a 2017 TRD Sport and he never done all the things I have tried. Just shut the truck off when he got to where he was going. His A/C never had this issue. But both of my trucks have.

Do you think short trips in town has a effect on my issue? That is all I drive mostly.

Heat gun took care of the rubbing on the fender thanks guys.

If I’m flexing while steering I do hit the bit that would be taken out with a CMC. At least now the vehicle isn’t rubbing on every turn. Guess I’ll schedule a CMC!

Glad it helped some! Just keep in mind the CMC might affect your warranty if you’re still covered. Something to consider. I’d check into it before proceeding. Just my .02

Already got 47k on this bad boy. I’ll have to double check but I’m pretty sure the warranty I’ve got was 36k miles it was the basic offer from Toyota.

Was thinking the basic warranty was 6 years or 60K miles. Maybe the frame is part of the comprehensive warranty which is something like 12 months.
