    I did that a bunch of times with a Toshiba laptop. What a POS that was. Lasted maybe a year with minimal use back in 96/97 during high school.

    Did you get that washer figured out? I had run into that a couple times before and it ended up being the control board that has the relay that power the drain pump, that relay gets stuck closed. You can replace just the relay if you know circuit board repair. Most just replace the control board itself though

    I keep the old DELL 6600 around for the docking station, the DVD burner, and a laptop with more peripheral support than I'll ever use. I think it weighs 10 pounds.

    Actually the head and block pitted Civic I worked on was like ten years newer then yours. It might not even have been an issue with those earlier Civics now that I think about. Burp it completely and then fill overflow tank and after engine is completely cold use black sharpie to mark on overflow tank the level and then you have a kind of standard to compare against in next few days

    Get a pre-2018 Speed Queen. It's the 1st gen Tacoma of washing machines. Doesn't try to be anything but tough and reliable.
