I just picked up my Tacoma from the dealer, PCS recall done and transmission firmware updated per TSB. I'm still waiting to see what Toyota would like to do about the front bumper trim facia not staying clipped in.

Did you replace the front struts also? Thinking of doing it in the fall but not sure how involved it is to replace?

 

Installed the SaBellCo tailgate lock today because if there isn't some type of theft deterrent (still no guarantees) in my city the junkies will steal it.




I also installed the third tie down rail since it was an easy upgrade and I will use it.



Next upgrades probably won't happen until the wife finds a job.

 

if you haven't already taken out the center of the "O" and "A"s, a toothpick works really well...

 

Yes. Went with the 5100’s up front also set at zero with OME 887’s and KYB top hats. The local tire shop I utilize only charged me $160 to assemble the coils and top hats and remove and replace the stock struts which I had spacers on.
