Do you have a double cab long bed? If so, not even Tom Woods makes one for that.

I have a Tom Woods single piece on my access cab and it solved my vibration issues. I bought it used and it was too long for some reason, so I did take it to a drive-shaft shop to have it shortened, and the guy there said that he's never seen a single piece on a Tacoma before. But he did have a lot of ones there that were longer (mostly for heavy duty trucks) and didn't mention anything about it being too long.

What about a DC short bed?

The drive shafts for the access cab and the DC short bed are both the same I do believe

+1!! 100% agree! Do it locally. Although some people have had good results with TW shafts? Many have had bad vibration issue at higher speeds with the Tom Woods shaft. (I'm in that group)
If I had the chance to do it again? I'd do it locally. My local shop wanted $600 for a custom shaft. (I paid $430 for the TW)
I'd gladly pay the $600, knowing that they will work out any issues that came up.
Besides Tom Woods was clueless about what was causing the vibration. They said "It's a hit or miss deal. Some have the vibration, and some don't".

    Just MHO!

    Good Luck!

Damit! Why cant you guys just give me a straight answer ;) haha, I appreciate all the input guys. I'll go talk to the local guy's agian and see if their confidence level went up a bit. Cost and how much they are willing to trouble shoot and stand behind their work is going to be the deciding factor.

I will keep everyone posted with the progress and end results. Again, thank you!
