I think the tsb does 1.5" in the rear. You can run your stock coils with the billys the ride will be a little more harsh but thats expected when your lifting. And your going to have a coilover: springs and shocks make a coilover. I am assuming you meant a full set from a company..that all depends if you really want to spend 500+ more for saying you have (insert company name) coilovers. No you dont need an aal unless you go over the middle setting which i think is 1.75", because at that setting you should be level.

if i get the billies I will get new coils as well (if i am going to have a rough ride I may as well save the money and go with spacers), that will mean new UCA's, correct? Even if spindles are 1k, they would still be cheaper than new CO's, billies, and UCA's.

honestly, I think I just may save the time and go with the toytec ultimate kit - it is expensive, but I can adjust if i want and it seems a lot easier than the mixed up stuff I keep hearing (spacers, adj. billies, spindles, blah blah blah) it gets pretty frustrating.

Yes, I have a 4x4 so I needed a drop bracket kit to get more the 3" of lift.

    I have RCD's 4.5" kit, on 17" procomp 7089s w/ BFG A/T 305/65/17

don't waste you money on the the ULK... serious spindles are way better with your 2wd set up.

    ULK
    3"
    extended shocks = rougher ride
    need new UCA

    Spindles
    3.5-4.5
use stock shocks = stock ride quality
    no new UCAs

add an AAL and you're good to go

all for the about the same price... plus later on you can add new coilovers (for even smoother ride)

look up iamrayzian he is running spindles with kings (not necessary) and its sick

So the shocks are still over extended with the ultimate kit? I thought the fact that they are adjustable stopped this from happening?

^yes because they are not extended travel coilovers... coilovers lift by reducing travel... (i.e extending the shock) some coilovers absorb the lift with increased dampening and others are have overall more travel. the ULK doesn't include extended travel coilovers.

right they are adjustable but the lower the adjustment the lower the lift. If you want to lift you vehicle then you will need higher settings thus reduced travel

the coilovers will probably have better dampening and higher spring rate though

    This is confusing.
When lifting the vehicle (Bilstein 5100s, Coilovers), the total amount of travel that the front suspension has does not change. Simply the rest position of the suspension is sitting at a different point within the total. When lifted, the vehicle has less down travel from rest position and more up travel from rest position compared to stock height. But the total travel still remains the same.
