    There is one problem with the 1 piece it's the length. To keep vibes down and prevent it from spinning too fast it's gotta be larger dia. There is discussion about it on the 1 piece DS thread

    Yeah I just got mine retubed and other shit I broke replaced. Gonna have the local shop make me a wheeling only shaft with a lot thicker tube and a double cardon joint at the CB. Keep the stock one for on road use. Had a good discussion with them about all the different options and theories.

    I broke the camera on my phone which is the only camera I have. Summary of repairs. New tube, CB, 2 ujoints, rear welded u-joint piece and flange for the rear diff. I did a # on it. The custom shaft will be made in the spring when we get a bunch of stuff ironed out.
