I was thinking about picking up some silver paint for her wheels? That or hubcaps.

Give the truck a fresh look.

I think if/when this gets done we get a group picture of all our Tacos (and @Adventurer_Alex and whoever else moved on) and the '90 together. Low on the totem pole of importance, mind you.

Edit: Just looked again and saw they're mismatched so maybe I'll just clean them up.

Do you think when you get back from HD you could snap a few pics of the truck from more angles (and maybe add them to the OP, too?)

EDIT: Topic #2, Anyone know good pick a parts around town that have a decent import selection? I'm thinking of prowling some tomorrow to see if I can find a steel wheel on the cheap.

5x114.3 14" correct? Will scout prices for decent used tires too for a spare.

Will do. I won't see her until tomorrow though. Looking back she has three black American racing steel wheels and the left front (I'm assuming her spare at one point) is the factory steel wheel.

So I went ahead and made this (and ran it by @Man of Steel TRD ) just to set some basic structure so we don't all end up pooling around one area of the truck (or worst, nowhere near the truck at all!) and have a good idea of where to start on the truck at least.

Ideally, those who have the most experience working in the areas they volunteer for would be "Leads" and would be guiding the "Assistants" and/or having the Assistants get things they need while they're half under the truck or otherwise occupied. I, for example, only have experience with basic maintenance and while I could probably name 95% of parts if you asked me to, I wouldn't want to be the one torquing anything back to spec.

The Rear crews are listed as optional on the basis of how much there is to do still in regards to brakes/suspension and how long these tasks take as well as how much manpower we have available. It could end up that the "Lead" on the Passenger side works with Assistants on Front/Rear duty to ensure everything flows properly.

The "Flex" Assistant volunteers would be topical ointment that is applied where needed, likely in the engine bay. If you'll be arriving later in the day, consider volunteering here.

Anyways, just let me know where you'd like to volunteer on the truck using this format:

    ((TW NAME/First Name))
    ((Lead or Assistant))
    ((Position Ex:Engine Bay/Passenger Front/Flex))

Please ensure you quote this post or tag my name when submitting the position you're volunteering for.

Diff fluid change starting right away.

I can bring my own drain pan if needed, but I assume some will be there.

Alright, I'm stepping out for a bit, I'll collect and format all entries when I get back and submit the template to @Man of Steel TRD so he can update the OP with it as it goes. I'll also post the most recent version as entries pour in.

Until I can submit an updated image (once we get 5+ volunteers listed) please try to make sure you see what others have already volunteered for. If there is an area on the truck that you feel confident working in and someone has already volunteered for, just put yourself as a "Lead" in that position as well and you two can duke it out come Charity Day.

I'm gonna take point on the timing belt unless someone is a super mechanic and can bust it out fast.

I encourage everyone to bring their jackstands.

We'll get a group photo of them and put it online without context to confuse people.
