Nope, that fluid has gone bad. It picks up water and corrodes the brake lines gradually turning green, it turns a darker green as it wears away rubber seals, and eventually sooty grey signalling your braking system is about ready for a replacement of everything. Every three years is the usual interval as brake fluid is hygroscopic and absorbs water.

Anyone have an ECGS bushing tool or know if there is a pass-off thread somewhere? (Similar to the great SWR meter swap thread)?

Got bilstein 5160s put on today. The shop I went to put them on upside down and told me it was fine. Not sure how I feel about it. Dont really that's you cant see the reservoirs. Function over fashion always. And the truck drives smooth as it should. But I did just replace some rancho 9000s that were past due. Is this gonna cause any problems? Any thoughts?

Just get some worm drive clamps and a section of rubber hose. Cut the hose to length. Thread the worm drive clamp through the hose. Attach the resi's to the crossmember with said clamps.

I think you can get them rather large but I typically like the rubber isolators and a worm clamp.

But you can get the fancy billet clamps too, just gotta make sure you have the clearance and the right tube OD and reservoir OD

Yeah fuck that... I fucked up the threads on a brand new tie rod end once by putting the castle nut on and smacking it. I think its worth the extra time and money to just buy a puller or at the very least rent one

Never seen that before o_O I think it should be fine depending on the shock... just be careful if you plan on taking it off road

Yeah, you shave em till they die, you can buy a brass bar or brass drift instead but the hammer is more space convenient.
