Sorry I do not have ECGS needle bearing removal tool. I had used someone else's removal tool and from what I know the guy doesn't even own a Taco anymore, he'd traded his Taco for a F150. So most likely he had gotten rid of the tool.

So, I wanted to get out of the house yesterday. I have been looking at forest maps and google earth sat imagery and was wondering if I could get down from the Whitney Reservoir area down to the canyon below. I started out in Coalville and took chalk creek road up to the Whitney area. After exploring some various trails, it was near 5pm. I decided to back track to see if the trail I had in mind actually went over the pass (Moffit pass). There is a trail, but I came across a locked gate.. It made me sad to see a small side by side trail around the gate. When will people learn? Below are reference pictures of where I was.

    Anyways, It was fun exploring.

Yeah, things have changed a lot. I think there are more locked gates and no trespassing signs in the back country than mosquitoes.

I think for the case where I stumbled upon the gate, the private land holders outside the USFS boundary don't want public access. On my Back country Navigator app, I downloaded the utah FS/ BLM boundaries. Its pretty interesting how land is divided up.

I wonder what they are planning to do with the land? Some future development, grazing or just because they can.

I'll be there. I'm bringing my mountain bike too though, so I'll roll through Expo for a while then go hit Sardine peak from their parking lot.

I like those wheels. Classic lines and easy to clean when they get muddy.

That's my #1 thing when I look at getting new wheels is the ease to clean. I can't stand the rims that have bolts and edges all over the place. They take forever to clean.

My ray-10s always have a little pool of water in the bottom of the fake beaklock after I wash them. Short of vacuuming it out, it is remarkably resilient to being forced out of there by driving, etc. It does bug me, but I like the wheels.
