    Drop bracket lift and booger welds
    That retaining nut should be all you need, there is nothing else holding it on there. Sounds like it might be rusted on. You can always take this entire assembly off to confirm:

    Bad example since rust made that guys bend hard AF cause of the rust and shit but thats all the assembly is.

    Yeah that's what mine look like as well.
    Was able to get the retaining nut off however the pulley seems to be (welded) rusted onto the mounting post, and I sheared off the adjuster screw nut head
    SOAB !
    Hopefully I have enough room to get in there cut the damn thing off with a dremel

    Never wanted to do that since it uncovers that bolt. I have the bird dog mount for hunger the radio. Haven't installed it yet since I still need to get behind the radio for things. Although, I will likely always need to, so I might as well put it in.

    The bolt gets replaced and the small gap around the ball mount is small enough not to bother me since it's not really visible from the driver's seat. One could get super anal and cut a small hole in center of plastic bolt cover to fill in the gap.

    You talking about the Tech Deck?

    Yeah the tech deck. I meant to say under* the radio. Guess I'm hungry.

    I might just do this mount instead. I don't think I'll have anything more than my phone on a mount. Or my tablet when on the trails. Won't need everything mounted at the same time.
