not bad..had help , take ur time etc...clean everything really good......yes you will be ama zed at the difference it makes, truck is really responsive again (it is a truck not a hot rod) but stays in OD instead of the hunting...has power again...and very smooth again, really was just starting to notice the vibration..althou here in NE PA you cant find a smooth section of road too....

 

Gave her a good cleaning. Will be garaged for 6-7 weeks while we nest at home with new baby & use the highlander for all activities.

Well , I put in Rago bed stiffeners , Interstate Battery , Billistein 5100 , Skid plate , Cooper AT 3 tires

 

Why? My Taco has always had a car seat in it. We put bases in both cars so baby could ride in either vehicle.

 

Got my new cvt tent mounted up on my bed rack last night. Then woke up this morning and swapped out my old shrockworks bumper for my pelfreybilt I picked up from bamf back in March but was finally able to put on. Still need to get my winch swapped over but wanted to test fitment to see if I needed to change anything before I slap some paint on it.

 

Because it’s nice to haul the family around in a highlander. Especially when Wife is coming off surgery (c section) and doesn’t have to get a running start to jump into my truck. I take the family around in my truck too but it’s not as safe and practical as the highlander.

Best mod you can do if you’re a Yeti fan. BottlePro fits my 36oz Yeti Rambler in the cupholder. Now it’s not rolling around on the seat or floor. Was about 17 bucks on Amazon

 

Congrats. I kind of did the same thing. Wife and I used our Camry and Corolla for a good 6-8 weeks until my wife was comfortable with climbing in and out of the truck with the 2nd kid.

 

Fair enough. My wife had an emergency C section after our little one got stuck in her pelvis. Almost lost them both. In our case, it was easier for her to climb into the truck than it was to bend down to get into her Forrester.

Finally painted my wheels last night.

 

put the extended travel 2.5 kings w/ 700# springs (getting the full headlight hoop steel bumper on next week)
i have full belly coverage armor right now and sliders. i set the adjustor knob to the softest setting and personally i like the way it feels already. the 700# spring really makes any adjustment of height super tough looking and it doesnt feel that firm (in my opinion)
also if your planning on installing these bad boys yourself id highly recommend taking them to a local shop you trust to have them adjust the height for you with a legit spring compressor..(i know there are different methods im specifically mentioning this to people who dont own a spring compressor or have never used one)
i have adjusted the height by renting a compressor and taking it the shop..shops way safer its quick and depending on your history with the shop they wont charge you a single dime because its a 2 minute job but anyways have a look (got 6 ton stands if ya cant see em!)

also changed out the uniball and bushings on my tc uca!
ive never done anything like this before..took a good part of my day but i took my time had fun and everything worked out great
