    Yeah.
I have a Trek card and use their 12 months no interest deal. I just pay it off before the 12 months is up. Free money, lol. Markup on new bikes is huge, but shops have to make some money. I start at 15% off and settle for 10%, but I have never paid the MSRP for a new bike. Still a good deal for them to sell a higher-end bike. If I need warranty work, I bring them a 6-pack when I pick the bike up. But for the most part I do my own wrenching.

I’m gonna try to learn how to wrench and mess with bikes on my cheapo one. I’ll use the store warranty on the nice one until I get comfortable

I have a bike said by people not to exist. It's a Raleigh Full suspension mountain bike. Even the people I bought it from said Raleigh doesn't make a full suspension bike. But here it is hahaha.

Your shop was hella cool. They adjusted the shifter on my iron horse and did a quick check up and said it’s all good which is hella impressive for a $200 bike that’s been thrown down and beat up ALOT and old.

They also hooked my trek up with some metal pedals and a water holder.

I felt bad walking in with the iron horse but they didn’t even sweat it.

Waiting on my buddy to get off work around 5 and then we are gonna go riding somewhere.

Then this place offered to buy my iron horse asking where I got it and how much and all that lmao

Got in touch with a guy in Columbus who is trying to get people to come ride at his land. It’s mainly cross country with a dip and climb here and there.

Might go to cypress creek later today if a buddy comes with me. Trying to get some jumps and stuff in with the new trek.

Another good reason to hang on to it then....Must be a reason. I'd research the bike some and see. Yeah, love the shop. All the folks there are really cool.

Yep. The dude carved the trails by himself. A retired racer. He wants more people out there cause it helps maintain the trail and he just likes to ride. Told me that I can go ride anytime I want and to bring friends.

It’s calmer than what I love but it was a peaceful trail ride. All through trees to keep the heat down in the shade.

I need some advise. I have a canndonale cujo 1. I am looking for recommendations for a pouch to carry tools , a spare tube / tire patch ( once I go tubeless ) possibly extra water bottles. Looking for recommendations as well for a good solid water bottle holder and a good phone holder.

Mines usually busy but next weekend should be empty. Supposed to go ride with a buddy around canyon lake on Sunday.

Just went out to cypress creek and got a freaking flat halfway down the trail that sucked.

That's a great ride if you're talking about Madrone trail...........been a little minute since I've ridden there. Buddy has house in Wimberley so that place, Purgatory Creek in San Marcos and Reimer Ranch in Dripping springs are the 3 closest places to ride when there. Reimer Ranch is also on Hamilton Pool road and that is great swim spot. Pics are from where Madrone crosses an old boat ramp not used any more. Nice swim spot during the ride. Another buddy lives by Lago Vista close to the offroad park and we hit all the Austin area and points west from there. You have opened up a whole world of coolness with the bike that trucks don't get to go. LOTS to explore. Been into this since early 90s. Still need to hit Palo Duro Canyon area. Lemme know if next wknd is a go at that place by you and I'll load up a bike and drive out, supposed to be extra hot so the shade'll be nice.
