The 6.2L gas engine has a turbo? I don't think so...

You edited your post after I quoted it. The 7.3 Godzilla isn't out yet.

You are correct but truck company’s have always made big v8 alternatives to the diesels since your average Joe can’t work on diesels.

    He said "big v8 super duty." The 6.2 isn't a v8, and the 5.0 isn't big.

For what I and what I expect many do (easy to “difficult” forest trails etc) the Raptor is impossibly ill-suited based on how f*%#ing wide it is alone. And hey, that’s not what it’s built for, so you can’t really blame it for that. Either way, I think at the end of the day I’d rather have a TRD OR Tacoma, shell out for a full King setup, and pocket 30k. Not to mention that the Raptor is chief executive of mall crawlers inc.

There's a 0.5L difference in size between the 6.7L Scorpion and the 6.2L gas; what do you mean by "big" exactly?

Oh, nvm. I was thinking the horrible ford v10 was 6.2L. That's a 6.8. He said "superduty" so I was only thinking about ford engines. Yes, there are a select few large displacement gas V8 engines, but they are a minority compared to diesels.

Confirmation bias. If he were really happy with his choice, he wouldn't be hanging around here anymore. Also, the mute button is your friend. Mine currently has one person on it, and it's this tool.

Same!! Hahahaha!! Only person I have ever had to ignore. Which says a lot because I have read a lot of opinions I don’t agree with. Difference is they don’t repeat themselves like a broken record!

Again, AZF1504X4 and Tacobella usually come on here to counter Ford bashing. In Tom’s case he actually owned multiple Toyota’s including a third gen. Yes this is a Taco forum, but if we’re going to Ranger bash, then expect people with experience with both models to chime in here.

While I personally would not give two cheap fucks about popping into a Ranger or Colorado forum to defend the (eye roll) honor of Toyota, that’s the cross they have elected to bear, and I have no problem with it. This should never be an echo chamber of Toyota ass kissing and anyone who is threatened by a differing opinion from posters who have the balls to buy another brand and defend it should turn in their man cards.

However, any worthless leech who pops in multiple third gen threads to randomly insert Ford Ranger propaganda all over the place to trash the third gen with passive aggressive bitch swipes but does not have the stones to shut the fuck up and buy a Ranger and never owned a third gen needs to be treated as the one note pathetic troll that he is.

Currently it is correct since he said "big V8 superduty" implying large displacement ford trucks. Until the 7.3 drops, there is no big gas option for ford.

I’m in Germany this month and have seen maybe 3 Hilux’s so far, while I’ve seen over a dozen rangers so far.
Pickups are a rare sight in Germany though.

Tom’s lack of humor is part of his charm.

    You buy that Ranger yet?

You ever own a third gen?

If you answered “no” to both questions then you may be a troll.
