Anybody from Portland, Hood River, or the Dalles have a spare 265/75/16 tire I can buy/borrow? Blew two tires this weekend & had to leave the truck on the side of the road

Any recommendations for where in the Portland area to get shocks filled? Getting ready to put Taco back on its wheels after 2 years and need mine gassed up.

 

Appreciate the offer, I bought a new wheel from discount & drove back out last night to recover it

 

Had to drive 15 miles back out of the canyon to get into range. We had just completed a 3 day canoe trip and were picking up my truck from the drop in, so all the gear, GPS, water was at the takeout & my buddy who dropped me off was miles ahead b/c I stopped to take some pictures. Luckily the duratrac held together just enough for me to bounce the rims up the canyon. Learned some preparedness lessons ironically while I had most of my gear and tools with me.

I was over there a couple of days ago. Thought I found the crossing, but it was somewhere else in the general area.

 

So is that a reenacted photo, or did the rescuer actually take the time to snap one for the gram before he assessed if the man was alive or dead? Just wondering.

 

From what I read, the dude snapped a pic as he arrived on the scene. Kinda weird...

 

Not that strange if you are documenting a crime scene or what could be. For all the rescuer knew on arrival, there could have been one nasty mess of what was a person in the tent.

 

The rescuer was biking. Maybe he set up his tent for the guys benefit before taking the photo. His bike and gear is scattered around there.

 

Thats what I was wondering as well, the tent wasn't making much shade. Who knows oh well, all that matters is the old timer pulled through thanks to him.
