    I am sure this is somewhere on TW but I am not seeing the set up I am looking for (maybe because it does not exist) I am finally getting some rubbers for my truck and I do not want to half ass it. I have been stuck on 265/75/16 but now am hearing 285/75/16 will work and I love the way they look. My truck has a leveling kit in the front of 2 inch and that is it, does anyone have this set up? If so pics would be fantastic and information. I do not want to have to lift the truck anymore. Will it rub or should I not go that size.
    Gracias

    I got about 2.5inch in front and I rubbed. Had to do CMC. I’m running 285/75/16.

    I also have 2” lift and I thought 285’s but ended up at 265/75r16. I didn’t want to cut so played it safe.

    Rubber=tires
    Rubbers=something you buy before a Tinder date.

    So I actually bought 265s but sent it back after a change of heart. Ended up with 285s and glad I did. But that said, I had the liberty of Icon coilovers and had to crank it up to 3" to not rub.

    At only 2" of lift, you will most likely rub. And in fact at 3", I still rub in reverse and when turning quickly into a curbed driveway. I'll prob do a chop in the near future.

    I think with a 2” on 16” wheels the 265/75 route is easiest. No rubbing and the stance works for me.

    285/70/17 Nitto Grapplers on 4Runner off road wheels, bilstien 5100 leveling lift....... and no rubbing or trimming. Pretty sure it's from the offset of the 4runner wheels tho.
