Do you have any pictures of the Smokey Mountains?

 

We live two hours from the Smokies but don’t have any pictures. What other park would you like to have pics of?

 

Any parks would work! Just trying to get this thread filled with beautiful pictures of our national parks!!

Buffalo herds , Theodore Roosevelt, old faithful, Bears, tons of Geysers, waterfalls.

#2 is Crater Lake. It’s the absolute most deep true blue Color you will ever see. We walked to the bottom of the volcano and touched the lake

Here’s a spot. It’s not a national park but
It’s awesome. Bonneville salt flats. WestBound I-80 , just before Nevada border. Stop at the rest area that has picnic tables , the iconic Bonneville sign and about 2 miles away is the road to Bonneville speedway. (Spoiler alert .... it’s just a long stretch of salt) lol

Denali is fantastic!
You lucked out with a clear day to see the mountain! It was cloudy the day I went and couldn't see it.
I did have a look at it from the airplane flying out of Fairbanks.

 

We were at Denali back in ‘84. Never did see the mountain.

 

No kidding. I know someone who was up there a week and never saw it, I was in the park 2 days and saw it on both.

If anyone gets up there and only has a day or so to get out into the park, I highly recommend a Discovery Hike.

I stopped here just because i was driving by. It was actually kinda awesome. The prairie dog cities were amazing!!!

 

We lucked out at Bonneville. The AMA was running time trials. 200mph on two wheels.

 

We have been lucky. Been to Denali 5 times and have seen the mountain every time. Can't stop looking at it.
