I'd bet super tech is still better oil than whatever Toyota OEM was 20+ years ago when my truck was made :)

A couple years ago, Mobil 1 gear oil was the rage... and that is what I have in all three of my cases: Differentials and transfer. Lot's of Baja off roading and it is doing great.

Picked up a 5qt jug of Pennz 5w30 synthetic at Wally World today for $23...so much better than at the auto parts stores. Still not $15 but I don't think I'll find it here in CA for that cheap

Also found out that our local wally world sells Toyota OEM oil filters for our trucks too, cheaper than the dealer. score

    Too few to list.
Whut?! Which Walmart sells oem oil filters? My dealership would have it for $3.88 each but limited to 3. Luckily they have that deal all the time so whenever I pass by, I just buy 3.

Wal Mart in Duarte right near Monrovia, single OEM filters for $6.50 I think it was. So actually that deal from your dealership is pretty darn good

Then I guess I will continue going to the dealership. If you're ever around the area, check out Puente Hills Toyota.

Will do, I'll ask the one near me if they do a multiple product discount like that as well...hard to beat ~$4 per filter for sure

Actually, your dealership should match coupons. Just click on the puente hills post above and should direct you to the coupons page.
