I'm leaning more that way now...initially my first thought was to lose them. But the look is growing on me...really liking the contrast of the red and black against the blue. Thanks Britt.

I put the Cobra 75wsx or whatever it’s called in mine. I mounted the little box under the seat and the hand held mic/ controls on the trans tunnel out of sight down by my leg. You don’t really know it’s there but handy when you need it

If I go with an installed model, that's the one I'd want. Thanks Chris.

I seen those. I like the idea, just haven't decided on the antennas (Jeep and Tacoma for my son).

The antennae mount location is the big question for me...and if I want the hassles of an install if a handheld unit fills my requirement?

I guess you could do a little homework and find a handheld with the most power. The one I had was for when I had the dumptruck in the quarry to talk to the loader operator and scalehouse. I had to have the antenna out the window to talk.

Rob .... ever thought about going with a Marlin Crawler Taco Box ??? , lowering the low range gear ratio will help alot taking the strain / shockload off the drivetrain

It makes for more enjoyable off roading

I'd keep them on but I did replace mine with custom ones from @CBoy808 for a fair price and they turned out great.

Thanks for this input. I'm thinking a Taco ain't a dump truck. But I will spend the time researching technical reviews and such.

It's starts with removing the stickers, then some simple LED replacements. The next thing you know you are installing a 3" lift and larger tires.
That looks great so you have to add a roof rack and some new lights.

    Don’t need a radio
    Keep it stock.
    Wash it every day.
    Wax it once a week.
    Stay on the road
Garage it when it looks like rain.
