Thanks man! I would like to get a set of winter tires as well but I heard through TW these hold up quite well for where I am in MA. Close to Cape Cod. The snow is rough but nothing in comparison to where you are, keep on trucking man!

Thanks Matt! I’m also considering wheel spacers to add a little poke until I commit to a new wheel. Mine still have that factory stance. Hopefully I won’t get hassled since I’m close to the Cape and actually know a few troopers and local PD guys, so name dropping helps

Makes sense. I've read where people get a better ride replacing stock shocks with 5100's. Thought maybe just replacing the shocks would help get rid of some of the stiffness without replacing the springs. Maybe I was wrong. If anyone has done this can you compare the ride difference. Thanks for the explanation.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
"Ride" is so subjective. When I first got my Sport, I thought the suspension was perfectly adequate for pavement. I've read up some (not enough) on suspension mods and when it came time for new shoes, I also had 5100s installed all around. The new shoes (Cooper A/T3) and shocks made a definite, noticeable improvement in ride and handling with the otherwise stock suspension. Anyone more knowledgeable is allowed to correct me, but I would say the 5100s are a good starting point that you can build on. If you later feel you'd like to change springs for lift, changing loads, or whatever, have at it.

I'm still looking at options for bucking up the rear suspension, for those few times when I have a heavy load in the bed or tow a trailer, without sacrificing ride quality during normal use.

They are. I just mean because I really like the cement color. But when I bought my 17 it was only offered on the pro edition. Now they offer it on the off road.

Oh, it's not just that... Since inspections here in MA (at least where I am) are mostly monitored with video recording and crap so shops don't get into trouble.. you could get failed for not having them, and get the reject sticker. (my 1yr old truck got failed because of a license plate issue, lol... probably safer to keep em to prevent rocks n stuff being kicked up and scratching the side of your paint too if you do have the poke.. no?) I'm kinda tempted to replace the stiff factory OEM one's myself with some that are a bit more flexible.. I'm just not sure which ones yet. Rokblokz seem popular, but mighty pricey the last time I looked them up on Amazon etc. Not sure if they're any better, or will prevent minor rubbing from slightly larger tires though. /shrug. I'm still stock in the tire/wheels department.

Got my TUFSKINZ interior accents installed. And also ordered a TRD flat black exhaust tip from PURETACOMA.com. And hopefully this week she's going in for ICON Stage 5 lift, wheels, and tires.
