I was telling my brother today, if you don't mind biking up..there are still gravel roads all over the place and no one would even notice.

    Did anyone ever buy it?
I think, I remember a few yearsback, someone was talking about buying the property for an OHV park?

Last I heard it was going to be private ski place, and only people with a condo could ski it. that was 10 years ago? Maybe more? I would love it to become a park, but I haven't heard or read anything in the local news to indicate that.

Day off today, so I'm gonna mow the business lawn again (last done thursday) but a little lower this time and then spread some compost! Needing a loader for this job is about 20% of why I got a tractor, sick of borrowing the neighbors a few times a year.

Wife has an old friend coming into town this afternoon to visit, with a 2 month old who likes to scream apparently....thankfully we have a room they can stay in not attached to our house  Going to do a verys mall cookout/get together tonight for some people who haven't seen her in a while. Should be okay, but won't be mad when they leave tomorrow either.:anonymous:

It was a good time. The Wings & Wheels is 'bring whatever' as long as it's 25 years old. But yeah, they have a lot of 'themed' shows like the Truck & Tractor, All American, etc. Fortunately I can get into most of them with the '69, so we usually try to make it down there a couple of times a summer.

Theyre people. People suck. And mob mentality is a huge issue. I can go on.
This isnt a right or left thing. Its a people thing. A societal thing.
Just people are becoming more divided, and it will continue, until it cannot be contained any longer....
They just happen to be more noticable "as partisan divisions", which, is making matters worse.

You find the answer to that, please let us know! Sounds like the Ohio police got it right though, it's just too bad he took as many people with him as he did. Based on his history, it sounds like he's been troubled for quite a while. I was camping for the weekend and it was tough to get caught up on what happened over the weekend once I finally heard the news.

Well. Realized the Mrs has never been on an impulse road trip. So I'm going to let her choose 10 seconds before the keys hit the ignition, and roughly after 2 weeks of me telling here I've got everything planned ( I don't. Not one bit), that we can have a nice relaxing quiet beach vacation to Maine or....

I mean I've got a couple of maps.

But that's how all of our great adventures start.
(sorry for the pinstriping in Vermont everyone

So that's the honeymoon? Like teenagers in the back seat of the car?

    Sounds perfect!

Too poor for the honeymoon right now with buying the house and the wedding. But we did have enough to just do a low budget get away.

Just like old school road trips. Except we aren't drinking Natidaddies, sleeping 5 dudes and 5 BMX bikes in a run down motel, and if I get thrown out in a bar these days... Something went wrong.

I used to do this with my wife while we were dating! I once made her pick # 1 or # 2. 1 was NH, 2 was the Cape. She choose 1 so off to NH we went!

She still tells me that's one of the things she likes about me. It's hard to do stuff like that with kids though!

I do stuff like this with my wife all the time. We'll be heading out to just cruise around, no destination in mind, and when we hit the main drag here in town, I'll just ask her, "Left, or right?", and take it from there.

Wound up one day doing a big loop north through VT and heading over to the Kancamagus and back home through NH. Gorgeous fall afternoon and she was laid up with a ruptured Achilles tendon, so hiking was out, but we took a drive up the Mount Washington auto road and hit a few other vehicle-friendly sightseeing spots.
