I can now say without a shadow of a doubt, I hate clamshell style tents!!! Just had less room, less comfortable, we learned quickly if the then was wet everything inside would become wet or damp, by the end the thing smelled like my husky when he jumps in the swamp. Great trip but omg I love my tepui

We've had a @Cascadia Tents Mt Shasta for a couple of years, and it's been great on the weekend trips, but we're planning on doing a weeklong trip, and need a mattress topper that's more comfortable. Does anyone have any experience with the gel toppers? I imagine it might be a bit stiff in the cold, but the egg carton foam one we have isn't cutting it. Would a thicker foam one be the best bet? I'm looking at this: https://www.target.com/p/comforpedi...r/-/A-50695838?preselect=50631294#lnk=sametab

What’s even worse is that it 100% would’ve fit in the back with the seats down.

Hey guys I’m considering a RTT and had a few questions. I’ve got a few dogs so how do you guys get them in? Mine are German shepherds so carrying them might suck lol. How’s the space? Would 2 dogs and a gf be too much? Any recommendations for brand/racks?

I carry mine up, 65lb husky/gsd and 45lb husky. I have a Tepui Kukenam and with me and the 2 dogs it would get tight with another person but doable. Thought of getting some sort of ramp but havent figured out anything that wouldnt take up a ton of room in the truck. To get them out I have them jump into my arms.

I've thought about selling my current one and getting an extended version with the lower annex room so I could do that. I think I would have to leash them to the tent in case they get it in their head to go explore.

    HI PUPPERZ!!!

I carry my mutt up part of the ladder and he climbs the second half or so, but he's 55 lbs.

Annexes are great for the doggos
