I have an auto insurance question. I am having a hard time finding a company to insure my "new" vehicle. I bought a 00 Isuzu NPR 16' box truck. Because of the weight it can carry, it will not fall into my current auto policy. They want to sell me commercial with all sorts of restrictions and expense. I told them this is a personal vehicle and they told me it can't be used for personal use! WTF? The dmv licensed it to me as a personal vehicle. thanks for your help.

 

what were you doing in SJC? Also arent flights from SJC to PHX nonstop

 

Pops booked the flight only thing available in the time slot I wanted to get home in. Not a bad delay just landed and the burbank folks got off the phx folks got on, on the ground for maybe 35-40 min tops. Was up there for a family boys trip up to our grandparents old cabin in the mountains.

 

Whatever works! I got a $9 antenna and an HDHomerun Connect for $20 and I get 86 channels. Granted, 30 or so are in Spanish.

 

Most personal lines contracts will have a 10,000 GVWR limit and if it is over that it will not be insurable on the personal policy regardless of how it is used.
You can try Insurance Brokers of Arizona 480-812-1998 they have helped out a few of our clients with stuff like this.

My work is still looking for techs.
It's called electronic tech but it's very little electronics and mostly needing to be mechanically inclined and able to complete lengthly tests via a procedure.
Your resume needs to be strong to get an interview.

 

Does this mean the pay is equally strong?

 

Hell if I know what people think is strong. And depends on the person.
It's mediocre IMO to start out.

ETA: Is a degree needed?

 

A degree certainly helps make you look better on paper.
Honestly I don't think it matters but just having it on a resume has helped me.

 

Anybody ever camp in or around Zion? Looks like there are 3 "official" campgrounds in the park and some wild/BLM camping on the border of the park. Wild camping close would be preferred if anyone knows a good spot that is relatively close to the park. Looking to get in for hiking during the day, one or two days. A bit of a drive/offroading is fine, my camp setup and teardown is minimal.

edit: GPS coordinates are accepted as well...
