air temp silly.

i was actually stoked my tranny never went above 215 on the Priest grade. i had to use 3rd. 4th seems to get me up to 250+. big difference between those gears.

 

Yes they did it to me and I didn't even get to have a vibration during or after.
There ride empty is a bit tighter that before and I like it. With weight it's perfect.
No it's time to replace the welders and torches I had with a tig and plas. Wife said it's a good idea so that's a yes.

 

Speaking of Smog. Just had to hit the smog station. I went to Speedy Smog in Santa Clara. Tony is just north of El Camino Muffler on El Camino. In and out, $61 all-in.

 

Pfffft... Her rear-end is just as big as it has been.

Well, I added 1/4" irrigation tube to the right-front door seal like suggested in the thread that @Drtgrl posted, and it seems to have worked.
It was a quick mod, but didn't need all the lube that was suggested in the thread.
Verified at <undisclosed fast speed>mph and with cross/head/tail winds, and no more noise at all!

 

Interesting. I need to look into it for sure. Always notice it on the way back from camping once we hit Fairfield/Benicia and get that crosswind.

 

I'm jealous of his ride height with spring-under and all that weight
