I’m the manners generation too, but Amy definitely likes to be more independent and leans more towards the strong need no man type.

 

Hence why I am single even women of my generation who use to like stuff like that are turning that way.

 

My daughter's friends, for instance, scare me for what the future generation brings. lol Kids nowadays don't know half as much as us, when we were their age.

 

I dont either. I just want to know how much i have to build things, she tells me non, i spend it anyways, she gets mad, i work a massive amount of OT to make up for it .

I think a lot has to do with how someone is raised personally.

 

Did you have to go down in the basement and sit against the wall, with your head tucked between your knees and a hardback textbook on your head? lol

My sister and I both rode our bicycles to school ( 1.2 miles each way) when we were 5 and 7 years old. That shit's unheard of nowadays. I mean, when's the last time you seen a true rat pack of 15 neighborhood kids on bikes, terrorizing mailboxes in the neighborhood?

 

We didn't have a basement so it was the book and under a desk.

We use to do that too.

I don't think I've talked to Sandytaco before. I read the first few pages of this thread and seems like a lot of haters hatin' on this thread! Seems as if those folks are not around anymore.

Problem with your drawing, I was hooked to the driver side of his bumper which was only 2 or 3 inches from the corner
