Damn, I ran outta 80-90 on one diff. Need another bottle for the front. Have loads of 75-90 for the tcase tho

 

Life Hack: Don’t change diff fluid, just change diffs instead

 

My diffs are both a couple Grand if you can even find them

Anyone wanna come tag a lion? Thinking I might try and get my guide license.

 

I've never hunted outside indiana, but if I was to head west to hunt it would be for elk or ram. I think those two would be fun.

 

A ram will probably take you 30 years but an elk would only cost a couple hundo

 

I don't know of any state where it's easy for an out of stater to get a license for either. Elk is super hard to get even as a resident

 

Well that’s not the true at all, most states have OTC tags, they’re just a little spendy for out of staters

 

Figured as much on the ram. Kinda like getting a moose in Maine , you have to win a lottery just to get a tag.

 

I’m sure you can buy a tag, but that’ll cost 10’s of thousands hah

 

Can't just pour in a bottle of 75w90 or is mixing them a big no no?

When my drain plug was leaking once out in the middle of nowhere I had to top it off with 75w140...my dumb ass accidentally grabbed a bottle of it instead of 75w90 at the store to keep in the truck.

That was a long time ago, I've since drained/filled it

 

I haven't looked into it but figured it was like fishing liscense, cost about 5 times as much as the locals but it would be cool. Biggest thing we have around here is whitetail.

Just go for an Archery Tag, A lot easier to get.

Must be easier in UT, in WA it's a lottery and out of staters don't have a snowballs chance

 

Diffs aren't picky 75-140 is probably fine if it doesn't get cold. The tcase is picky and I didn't wanna eat up 5 bottles of 75-90 on a diff (6.99 a piece, when the tcase can use it) when I can get a 4qt jug of 80-90 for 12.99 and that's what the diffs call for (for whatever reason, I'm sure you could put 75-90 or 80-140)

 

Apparently you know something the Washington Fish and Game don’t.


I will say though, most OTC tags do not have very good odds of success, but many tag out every year.
