    who is running the arq4wd 270 awning? I need to see how you guys mounted the brackets. There is no instructions cuz I bought it second hand

    The bracket is really simple. It's just a 90* bent piece of steel. You'll need something to bolt that to. In my case, I have a ladder rack and I used tube mounts.

    I didn't buy those specifically for my awning, they were just laying around from some lights I installed that ended up using different mounts.

    Anyway, 8mm bolted right onto that mount is what I did.

    Mine just broke a few weekends ago. Wind gust folded the center arm over itself. I would recommend using the anchor lines and tying it down if you deploy in somewhat windy conditions.

    I’ve used mine in Below freezing winter and wasn’t able to zip up the awning into the bag because of all the frost that was frozen to it so I bungee’d it up and all was good once it defrosted. Used it at the Alvord desert in Oregon with some 40+mph winds but you have to anchor it using tie downs or else yeah it’s gonna break.
