    So on is on, and off is controlled by the dome light? Perhaps on and auto for the switch.

    I believe ON is always on, OFF is always off, and DOOR is auto.

    OFF= fully off. Complete override.
    ON= always on. Full control no matter If door open/closed. Truck on or off.
    DOOR= functions exactly how it would without a switch. Unlock-activate. Door open-activate.

    Welp. Got the Ultimate 3rd Gen Dome Light. Just waiting for Taco Puddle Lights. Hopefully, it's out before the dome light shipped. So it can all be shipped under one package.

    So the 4runner ones came out but not the Tacoma ones? Also will the switch come with the puddle lights or will it be separate?

    Yes The 4runners are much easier to put together so I listed them first. Just wrapping up dome/map light orders then I will finish boxing up Taco puddle light kits and list them next.
    Yup!

    Also for the Puddle switch, I have a sample coming soon. It won't be available in time for the next launch, but will be available to purchase separately and will be an easy add on.

    Do you think it's possible to connect this to DSIM's rock light switch, but instead of hooking it to rock lights, attaching it to the Uptop Overland roof rack lights?

    Edit: or does everyone think that's going to be a terrible idea?

    I'm a little OCD because I do electrical controls for a living. But, if you use relays and dedicated power sources, you can use a single switch to control as many lights as you want.

    I'm also OCD about neat wiring, although I don't do electrical controls for a living. I'm debating on having the roof rack lights hooked up to the puddles for added light in dark areas, but I want to be able to switch them off independently of the puddles themselves. That's why I was thinking of using DSIM's switch, although I'm not entirely sure if it would work that way.

    Sorry, I haven't read through the entire thread. I'm not familiar with DSIM's switch. You can do what you want with relays. But you will need more than 1.

    Fair enough! I'll have to get everything purchased first and find enough time to wire it all up for a test run.

    DSIM's module is really just taking the negative (-) trigger from the dome circuit and making it a positive trigger so it can control a normally positive(+) lighting circuit. So with it you could in theory trigger multiple relay controlled circuits. Additionally, each of the relay controlled circuits could ALSO be controlled by an additional switch and relay.
