If my utilities ever get that low somethings not working like it should..... pool pump running on high 24/7, ac set to 70 in summer and 72 in winter, 3 kids who live 30 minute showers despite me pouring ice cold water on them numerous times, adding water to pool at times, electric hot water heater.... yeah my utilities won’t ever be 200 or less. We don’t have land line internet because it isn’t offered where I live and I have zero interest in changing where I live for internet. We have a hotspot thing through att cell service though but it’s quite slow but does well enough for the kids.

Your water bill is $200 and electricity is $600 I imagine. Whew.

It’s nice living alone at times for sure. Just me and 2 German Shepherd dogs

No nothing quite that high. Water runs around $60 a month and power averages around $220 a month. However you said utilities and internet. Internet that’s land based closest to where I live runs anouther $50 a month.

Speaking about being single and living accordingly.... I lived in Michigan for several years. Right after high school I rented rather than purchase a home. Dumb idea then but learned as I went....

Anyway, I lived in a small cabin that was the size of today’s typical bedroom. It had a bathroom and an open room. The cabin was roughly 12x12 box if that. The bathroom was extremely small of course and only a curtain to keep it separate. Was $150 a month. Included in the rental though was free electricity, free water, free cable television, free natural gas heat, and free garbage pickup. Drove back to Michigan after wife and I got married and had our third daughter for a 4/5 day getaway for my cousins wedding. I drove by it and showed my wife and she laughed and asked how in the world did I live there. I told her if I could find a place that cheap with all things included like it was then, we’d be moving in right away :). She didn’t laugh then.....

Everything’s different in the single life. There’s no doubt about that!

Took over a year of watching the marketplace and CL to find mine.

Isn’t exactly what I wanted, and I’ve seen others sell for less than what I paid. But I’m satisfied with the outcome.

This sucks, and no it doesn’t matter what I’m doing with dumbbells. The pic of dumbbells is proof enough whatever I’m doing sucks.

Heck that was 20 years ago. Even if I did have a pic it wouldn’t be on anything but film :)

I haven’t ever used google maps so if you know how to use it, the town is Atlanta Michigan. The intersection of m-32 and m-33. North of intersection about 1/2 mile just on the north side of town right beside the gas station. Was a bp back then.

    Does this bring back memories.

And yes it’s that easy to find, I have to deal with google maps everyday unfortunately.

Fun ride at Uwharrie. There aren’t really a lot of trails up there, but they are wide and nice. The 3 D trails (Daniel, Dickie Bell, and Dutch John each had at least one good obstacle. @ovrlndkull got through 2.5 of them in his Open/Open trail Limo with a great knowledge of his truck, potential and knowing the lines. and @TacoFMS and I were able to claw through pretty well with our lockers. The ledges on Daniel is where we got hung up. We all made the first ledge and I was going to pull Skip up the 2nd when my winch died again. The lines on Daniel were crazy. Skip did a great job keeping us in the right place. So we turned around and headed back down. It was completely dry, and I can tell you if it was wet, it would have been difficult.

Windrock was cool. @Gilmorec61 and 2 other trucks were there. We kept it fairly light. It is huge with mostly open trails. I got a chance to follow some Jeeps on 38’s up a nice climb and think I represented Tacoma’s on 33’s real well. We hit trails 11 and 8 toward the end of the day and had some fun climbs and a couple of water holes that gave us some belly dragging fun. I’ll be back there for sure.

I’ll try to get some pics and video up this week.

Definitely was fun. It was awesome watching you being double locked make things look very easy. Need to get down there again and wheel with you again on your turf following your guidance.

There were 3 cabins on this property back then. Unsure if they’re all still there or not. Either way worked well for me as a single man for a year. Was always working out of town anyway and only time I was home was to shower and change clothes. Wouldn’t have changed a thing :)

Wish I could have found something like that.

Bought first house few months before getting married. Now on second. Only Debt is house. Although I'm getting tired of working. I'm dropping chunk in 401k and Roth. So hopefully I can retire by 72.
