That'll work, done it before. Don't drive hard, just have someone watch and be firm on the pedal, small yanks here and there for the bigger part

You can’t convince me his 5-ton just isn’t a normal 1-ton pickup that becomes 5-tons when he gets in the driver’s seat.

You can frig off the 7.3l is still anemic compared to the 6.0l :luvya:

You can get 130-160hp from a 6.0l tune because the stock injectors can flow way more than the stock tune allows... Enough to blow head gaskets real quick

That a better idea than the port-a-jib? Not entirely sure where I’m chaining it either.

And that's why it can't play with the other diesels.

Ford did fuck it up right good.

The aftermarket has sorted pretty much all of the issues out but it's not a cheap game to play. Still love my truck :bananadead:

Eh, I don't think that would work on the bigger scale, but the trunk latch is a decent place to hookup first

Any good tow tune for the 6.0l uses stock fuelling params and just ups the boost and adjusts the shift points

I'd have a 6.7 or a 7.3, don't feel like playing with whatever BS Isuzu cooked up for Chevy and I don't want a Dodge unless it's a 1st gen Cummins.

That's just diesels in general, they have a hard time staying hot

You'll see big rig drivers wall off their radiators sometimes in the winter to keep the truck warmer and quite often even small diesels like Ford's and Chevies need that too

I just remember when I was younger we’d have to rev the engine up every so often when we were sleeping on a lion track to stay warm.
