1.5” rear and about 2” up front. Not exact (I didn’t measure before and after; should have, hindsight is always 20/20).

 

Thought that was for when you do a lift and can’t get the alignment correct. Counters that steering wheel tilt?!

 

I tried that but put it on wrong side. Jk

This is my second tacoma, the first being a lease. So now I can do mods without having to plan on how to take them off!

First mod, 3M Color Stable Window Tint @35% all around. Definitely helps in the Texas heat. Just put in an order for Husky X-Act Floor Liners & AVS In Channel Vent Visors from AutoAnything. Thanks to @eccracer104 for helping me out!

 

Finally got to order a Meso dome light combo.

 

Tint the front window if you haven't done so! Nice ride!!!!

 

What percent did you tint front window? Our 2018 DCOR came with the rear windows tinted pretty deep and there might be a slight tint on the front but I don't think so.

 

I did the 4 sides and rear. I've had pretty bad luck with getting my windshield chipped or cracked so I bought a windshield replacement plan through Toyota. I wouldn't want to have to get new tint if I ever have to replace my windshield. For sure getting a windshield visor though

 

So the rear windows are only TINT....no heat rejection. You should do every window if you truly want the heat rejection if that make sense.

 

Yeah the windshield is probably the window that lets in the most heat being that its the biggest. 3M Color Stable Tint @ 35% is rated for 40% heat rejection which is pretty good for the price ($260). I was quoted double for the windshield+sides+rear. I'd rather just buy a windshield visor and not worry about having to replace my tint if I replace the windshield.

 

Not a window scientist and I cannot quote the heat rejections ever....

I'm right there with you. Never will forget when I first layed eyes on mine. Woke up early Christmas morning, turned on the tree lights and there it was glistening in the lights. Back when chrome was cool...lol. Best Christmas morning ever.
