    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
If he gets an OEM alt that is rewound for 140amp maybe. The popular GM alt pushes 100amps at idle.

If your setup has been working so far a new alternator won’t need new bigger wires until you put more draw on the wires from more components using more juice.

I've heard some guys using the Mishimoto ones as replacements for the OEM

    https://www.amazon.com/Mishimoto-R1...coding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=09WP5Q816P2S5TY1K5DE

Denso makes one too I think

Do you know the gauge of the stock wiring?
    Planning on the GM alternator
What I have now is not fine. When winching hard, it’ll kill most every electronic component on the truck even when revving around 2000rpm. My current alternator pulses all my lights at idle right now. Very irritating at stoplights
Did you have any access amp draw on the system or just stock?

did you paint that with a better quality paint?
that POR 15 stuff I hear does not last for too long, cracks and peels easily sometimes

not bad looking at all for 16 year old frame!

What's the general consensus with JBA's in the first gen community? I am thinking a sealed ball joint might be best for me in the NE as much as I want to run TC bling.

    no more genuine radiators available?
i was told the lifespan is about 150k miles on them so I was going to do that next time the coolant needs a good changing,
perhaps also do water pump and thermostate, etc

You get more adjustability with SPCs but the couple people I know with JBAs really like them as well.

FWIW Mevotech sells rebranded SPCs for about half the cost.

    you wanna talk about stealership?

i priced a new front fuel tube at local dealer ... $65 !!!
camelback was about $25 ... plus shipping but a flat $20 with some other parts ordered to cut shipping down a bit

But how many people are fully taking advantage of that adjustment? From what i was reading, a lot of people only could use like 3 settings. I am hopefully pairing the UCA with an extended travel coilover from ADS, and I worry it won't handle the abuse. But they are like 30 mins from me, so if it breaks I can literally show up at their door.

TBH I don't know of many that adjust the SPCs much outside of the normal D setting. You automatically get some additional caster when you install them and I was able to get mine to 3˚ via the lower cams at the alignment shop so there was no need to change the normal setting on the UCAs. I guess it's just there if you need it which might be nice to have for some, but unnecessary for others.

One thing I do like about the JBAs that the SPCs don't have is the ability to grease the bushings in the arms. I haven't had my SPC bushings make any noise yet so maybe it's not all that important but it's nice feature if you ask me.

SPC with ADS is the setup I will have, just haven't gotten around to doing it yet. I have all the parts, ADS is already installed.

Yeah, that is true.I liked the option for more adjustability with the SPC, even if I don't use it. And they are black already. I just won't be getting around to installing them until after I move, so probably November sometime.
