What was your order date? Kind of trying to do math because 12 weeks is going to put me right in the middle of being out of town for a week and not being here to receive the package :(

I'm digging this bumper. Is there a list of compatible winches? I've been eyeing the Warn 10s (or 12s if I can find it used) seeing as how a few people here have it but $$$$. Wondering what the other options are.

Also is there another group buy in the works someday?

I have the smittybilt 10k x20. I've used it a handful of times to pull other people out and it's been reliable. Also completely wireless operation which is nice.

Another vote for the Smitty X20 with the rope, less weight.

Unless I am mistaken, at least one version of the Warn (10s Platinum) offers more wireless features and a MUCH higher cost. The clutch to free spool for example. No need to have cut outs in the bumper or open the hood.

Just ordered mine last week. Hoping to get it before hunting season. Going with a smittybilt X20 and a 20 inch rigid. I ordered the bumper with the rigid cutout and found a great deal on the light online

Mine took over 19 weeks and finally decided to install it this weekend. I've read some people have left the control pack on some winches like the Warn VR10-s but the 10S Zeon Platinum is almost 3/4 of inch higher so it would be impossible to fit even with bending the bracket. So I went with the relocation pack and installed it on top of the fuse lid. Lid is still easy to remove with just having to remove the positive terminal on the battery which should be done anyway when doing any electrical work. Pretty straightforward install and did it all myself so as long as you have a jack no other parties are needed to install the bumper. Highly recommend the Zeon Platinum winches as they are fully wireless controlled and you can also hook up other accessories to it like lights and have the ability to control them with just the wireless remote so no in dash switches are necessary. I'm running OME BP51 rears with HeadStrongs 3 leaf and left the overload in and the fronts are the Bilstein 6112 with the HD 650 springs. Front dropped just under 1/4" so wasn't too bad. Still have another clip left if I want to raise the front end more but more than likely I'll be upgrading to the BP51's for the fronts also.

Next up is the much needed 4.88 gears. Also having an ARB front air locker installed at the same time.

@pc3coyote Great write up. By chance does anyone know if the Trd pro sensors will still work with the slimline?

Does anyone know is the rough country single row 30” led bar will fit in the sso bumper? I opted for the 30” riding cut out on my bumper and curious what others will actually fit in besides the rigid one.

Not sure what sensors would be specific to the PRO but I’ve got a fully loaded 2018 Off-Road that has the Toyota Safety Sense package (sensors used for Dynamic Radar Cruise, Pre-Collision System, auto high beams, etc) and I installed a Slimline yesterday with the hoop/bull bar and I tested all these features and all my sensors work just fine.

Edit to above: I should have stated that I have a Pro grille so my grille sensor is lower than the factory location. I was expecting interference with the hoop on my slimline but everything still works perfectly.

Those are the only front facing sensors I thought. I just purchased one with a low rise bull bar for my 2020 Pro and I'm assuming (based off everything I've seen and read) that all the front sensors will still work.

Bored today so I tried to prototype how I'm going to attach my front plate when my bumper comes in. Don't really like the idea of the flip up holders and think this might be at least semi-legal. I'll use some bar stock without pre-drilled holes and paint it up before the final install. Anyone else try something like this?

CAREFUL, that stuff rusts easy.... I just ordered SSO hybrid with cutouts, and the lightbar cutout for the 20" BD S8 on the 7th.. hoping I can have it before my trip in May.. using that time to save up, order my winch, and lightbar. looking at the Smittybilt XRC GEN3 12k COMP. I like the features that it has, and 12k may be overkill, it takes up the same footprint as the 9.5k...

Ordered my Slimline Stage 2 on Black Friday. Packages were delivered at different times: wings first, light at second, and main bumper last. Took about 4 hours to install everything – pretty straight forward.

The only bummer I’m experiencing with mine is that the wings don’t line up perfectly with the wheel wells. The driver side is right on the money, and the passenger side is nearly an inch shy. I was told that the way the body mounts to the frame can vary from truck to truck. I tried everything to get it even, but closing the gap in one spot introduced a gap in another, so I left it as is. It’s going to drive the OCD in me nuts!

For anyone that has installed this with similar fitment issues, what did you do? Is it a pain in the ass to adjust the body to the frame to get everything to line up?
